its name, and yet so much more. It is beautiful, but also
warm, welcoming and idyllic. Humbly beginning as a small fishing
village, the town has prospered and bloomed into a vibrant
city. However, it hasn’t forgotten its roots in the
old world where native peoples gathered to be healed by the
fresh water springs, the warming sun and salty sea air. People
continue to venture here for relaxation and revitalization.
Some come for a few weeks at a time; others come to stay.
